You Don't Have to Keep Doing This Alone
Every client's needs are different, so our work together is tailored to you, not a one-size-fits-all plan. I draw from a mix of approaches, including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy, to find what actually works for you.
My Approach Draws From:
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) — practical tools to shift unhelpful thought patterns
DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) — skills for managing intense emotions and building distress tolerance
Mindfulness-Based Approaches — staying grounded in the present instead of stuck in the spiral
Solution-Focused Therapy — less time dwelling on the problem, more time building toward what's next
What Working Together Looks Like
You, Prioritized For Once
Sessions are built around you, not a script. Whether your mind won't stop racing, the color's gone out of everyday life, you're standing at the edge of something new, or food and your body have become one more fight you're tired of having, we'll get to the root of it and build tools that actually hold up outside my (virtual) office.
Sessions typically run weekly or biweekly, 45-50 minutes each. This might be for you if:
Your thoughts race the second things get quiet
Getting through the day feels heavier than it should
You're in unfamiliar territory after a big change
You're exhausted by the war you're fighting with food or your body
Therapy That Comes to You
No commute, no waiting room, no awkward small talk in a lobby.
All sessions happen through secure, HIPAA-compliant video, so you can log on from wherever actually works for you, your living room, your (parked) car between meetings, your kitchen table after the kids are finally down.
All you really need is a private space and decent internet.
I currently work with women located in New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Making It Work For You
Let's be real, cost matters, and figuring out insurance shouldn't feel like its own part-time job.
I accept insurance through Headway in North Carolina and South Carolina, so if you're in either state, that's often the easiest route.
In New York and New Jersey, I accept NYSHIP as well as out-of-network coverage, and I handle the submission myself, so you're not stuck chasing paperwork or filing claims on your own.
